Are you an Estimator with a background in precision machining or subcontract manufacturing, looking to join a forward-thinking engineering business offering genuine long-term progression?
This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of technically challenging projects within a well-established manufacturing environment supplying high-quality machined components and assemblies to a diverse industrial customer base.
You’ll gain exposure to a wide range of engineering processes and customer requirements, while developing your commercial and technical expertise within a business that actively supports continuous improvement and employee development.
The company has built a strong reputation within UK precision engineering and advanced manufacturing, investing heavily in modern production methods, operational efficiency, and quality standards. You’ll work closely with production, supply chain, and customers, helping to drive profitability, delivery performance, and technical excellence across multiple projects.
This position would suit somebody with commercial estimating experience within machining/precision engineering looking to grow their career.
The Role:
*Produce accurate estimates from drawings and technical data
*Manage enquiries through to contract completion
*Carry out contract reviews and capture full requirements
The Candidate:
*Background in machining/mechanical engineering
*Strong understanding of technical drawings
*Experience of producing quotes
