Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming primary school in Eccles, who are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a pupil with complex needs.
This is a full-time role starting ASAP and would suit someone who is patient, nurturing, and passionate about supporting children with additional needs to achieve their full potential.
The Role:
*Providing dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil with complex needs
*Supporting the child’s learning, communication, and emotional development
*Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and outside professionals
*Adapting learning activities to meet the pupil’s individual needs
*Encouraging engagement, independence, and positive social interaction
*Supporting with personal care where required
The Ideal Candidate Will:
*Have previous experience supporting children with SEND or complex needs
*Be calm, caring, and resilient
*Have excellent communication and relationship-building skills
*Be confident supporting pupils with additional learning or communication needs
*Be able to work effectively as part of a team
*Have a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
