Job Description:
Learning Support Assistant – Outstanding School in BL4 – Temp to PermAn Outstanding secondary school in the BL4 area is recruiting a Learning Support Assistant to join their team on a temp to perm basis starting in September 2026.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting young people and helping students overcome barriers to learning. The position will involve working closely with pupils who require additional support, including personal care responsibilities.
Main duties:
*Supporting students in lessons and around the school environment
*Delivering targeted interventions and classroom support
*Assisting students with additional learning and personal needs
*Providing personal care support sensitively and professionally
*Building positive relationships with students and staff
The school provides:

*Access to ongoing CPD and training
The successful applicant will:
*Have experience working with children or young people
*Be reliable, empathetic and professional

Contract: Temp to Perm
Pay: Competitive daily rate depending on experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
