Job Description:
Teacher of Science – Bolton Secondary School – September 2026 Start
A supportive and well-established secondary school in Bolton is seeking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Science to join their department from September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to join a welcoming school environment with strong leadership, excellent behaviour policies and a committed Science department. The role is suitable for both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to begin or continue their teaching career in a supportive setting.
The successful candidate will:
*Deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
*Teach Biology, Chemistry and Physics to mixed-ability classes
*Plan, prepare and assess students’ work in line with the national curriculum
*Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
*Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Science department

Requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
*Experience teaching Science within a secondary school setting

Pay: MPS/UPS dependent on experience
