History Teacher
Academics are currently working with a "Good" secondary school in Dover who are seeking a committed and vibrant History Teacher on a permanent basis in September 2026.
Located closely to local transport links, you will be based in a building with fantastic facilities within a friendly and supportive department. The team is committed to providing staff with high quality support and professional development.
What skills and experience we’re looking for in a History Teacher
Candidates must be able to teach across the ability and age range, supporting the development of History to the highest standards for all pupils at Key Stages 3 and 4.
The ideal candidate will:
*Be a qualified History teacher
*Passionate about teaching and learning and have a positive outlook and excellent interpersonal skills
*Strong and effective classroom practice with high expectations for achievements and behaviour
*Be able to plan and deliver a creative and stimulating curriculum and have a thorough knowledge of present curriculum development particularly those relating to History
*High expectations for yourself and the children to ensure that all of our children achieve their very best
*You will be dedicated to ensure that all of our children achieve their very best
*An aspiring leader of learning and happy to grasp exciting CPD opportunities
*Contribute to the values, ethos and the development of our schools
