Science Teacher - Colchester - Full TimeWe are working with a welcoming and ambitious secondary school in Colchester who are looking to appoint a passionate Science Teacher to join them from September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive department with strong leadership, well-behaved students, and a real commitment to high-quality teaching and learning.
The Role:*Teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential KS5 if suitable)
*Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
*Plan and assess learning to support strong student progress
*Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
*Work closely with a collaborative and supportive Science department
What We’re Looking For:*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
*Experience teaching Science in a secondary school setting
*A genuine passion for inspiring young people in Science
*Strong classroom presence and behaviour management skills
*An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
