Full Time | Immediate Start Available
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Chesterfield on a full-time basis, starting ASAP.
This rewarding role involves supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs, helping them to engage positively with learning and reach their full potential within a safe and nurturing environment.
The ideal candidate will:
*Have previous experience working with children or young people with SEN
*Hold a valid Positive Handling / Team Teach certificate
*Be calm, patient, and resilient
*Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
*Be confident supporting children with behavioural and additional learning needs
*Be available for a full-time role starting immediately
Responsibilities include:
*Providing 1:1 and small group support
*Supporting pupils with emotional and behavioural needs
*Assisting the class teacher with classroom activities
*Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment
*Using positive behaviour management strategies effectively
