Job Description:
Full job descriptionTradewind Recruitment are working with an Ofsted Outstanding secondary school close to Central Birmingham that is seeking to appoint a History Teacher for a temporary role starting in September 2026 until Christmas 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced teacher or an ECT to join a successful Humanities department within a supportive and well-led school environment.
The RoleThe successful candidate will teach History across KS3 and KS4 and play an active role within the wider Humanities team.
Key Responsibilities*Plan and deliver engaging History lessons that support student progress
*Assess, monitor, and track student achievement effectively
*Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
*Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning
*Contribute to departmental planning and school activities where required
