We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Science Technician to join a thriving school community in Lewisham on a full-time basis, working 5 days per week. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual with previous school-based experience and a strong understanding of science laboratory procedures and curriculum support.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Science Department by preparing practical lessons, maintaining laboratory equipment, ensuring health and safety compliance, and assisting teaching staff in delivering engaging science education.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:*Previous experience working as a Science Technician within a secondary school
*Strong knowledge across Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics
*Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
*A proactive and professional approach to work
*The ability to manage equipment, chemicals and resources safely and effectively
*A science-related degree (preferred but not essential)
