Step Into the Classroom in a Supportive Primary School
A friendly and welcoming primary school in Wellingborough is looking for a dependable Cover Supervisor to support across the school. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and is looking to gain hands-on experience within a classroom setting.
You will be responsible for overseeing lessons during teacher absences, ensuring pupils remain focused, engaged, and working through set activities in a positive learning environment.
Main Responsibilities
*Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of primary year groups
*Ensure pupils remain on task and engaged throughout lessons
*Manage classroom behaviour in line with school expectations
*Provide guidance and support to pupils where needed
*Create a positive and well-organised classroom atmosphere
*Communicate effectively with teaching staff regarding lesson outcomes
*Support the wider school team when required throughout the day
About You
*Experience working with children or within a school setting is desirable
*Confident managing groups of pupils independently
*Positive, approachable, and reliable
*Strong communication and organisational skills
*Able to adapt quickly to different classroom environments
*Passionate about supporting children’s learning and development
*Interested in gaining further experience within education
