Full job descriptionWe are currently recruiting dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work across a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools in Oldham. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting children’s learning and development within a classroom environment.
The successful candidates will have previous experience working within UK primary schools and be confident supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1, or KS2. Experience supporting children with SEN, including autism, ADHD, and speech and language needs, would be highly beneficial.
Key Responsibilities:
*Supporting the class teacher with the delivery of lessons and classroom activities.
*Providing one-to-one and small group support to pupils.
*Assisting children with additional learning or behavioural needs.
*Promoting a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
*Supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.
*Following safeguarding and behaviour management policies at all times.
Requirements:
*Previous school-based experience within UK primary schools is essential.
*Strong communication and teamwork skills.
*A patient, adaptable, and proactive approach.
*Experience supporting SEN pupils is desirable.
*Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
