HAYS Education are currently working to recruit Teaching Assistants and Learning Support Assistants on behalf of our Secondary Schools. Below are just a few of the positions we are currently recruiting for:
Teaching Assistant
General Class-based TA
Intervention Teaching Assistant
Autism Support Teaching Assistant
Behaviour Management Teaching Assistant
Your new role
You will work closely with teachers to support students both in and out of the classroom, helping to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. Your responsibilities will include:
*Providing targeted support to students with additional learning needs
*Assisting with classroom management and lesson preparation
*Delivering small-group and 1:1 interventions
*Supporting pupils to stay focused, motivated, and on track
*Collaborating with teaching and pastoral staff to ensure the best outcomes for student
What you’ll need to succeed
*Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant (school-based preferred)
*A patient, supportive, and adaptable approach
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
*A genuine passion for helping young people achieve their potential
*An Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one
