An established and highly regarded planning consultancy is looking to appoint a Town Planner to support a strong pipeline of commercial, retail, mixed-use, and regeneration projects. The successful candidate will join a collaborative and ambitious team delivering planning advice to major private sector clients, developers, and investors.
The RoleYou will be involved in a broad range of planning work, including:
*Preparing and managing planning applications and appeals
*Providing strategic planning advice to clients
*Supporting commercial and retail development projects
*Conducting site appraisals and planning research
*Liaising with local authorities, stakeholders, and consultants
*Assisting with project management and client relationships
About YouThe ideal candidate will have:
*MRTPI qualified or working towards chartership
*Previous consultancy or local authority experience
*Strong commercial and/or retail planning experience
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Knowledge of the UK planning system and policy framework
*Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
