About the Role
Reed Education are working in partnership with a successful all-through school to recruit a passionate and dedicated History Teacher to join their thriving Humanities faculty from September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a vibrant and inclusive school for students aged 2-19, where high expectations, strong pastoral care and student wellbeing are at the heart of everything they do. The school has a strong track record of academic success, with excellent GCSE and A-Level outcomes and a focus on progression to higher education.
Key Responsibilities
*Deliver engaging and challenging History lessons across key stages
*Inspire a love of History and encourage critical thinking and curiosity
*Use assessment effectively to monitor and support student progress
*Maintain high standards of behaviour and achievement
*Contribute to the wider school community and curriculum development
*Support students’ personal development and wellbeing
The Ideal Candidate
The school welcomes applications from both experienced teachers and ECTs.
You will:
*Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
*Have strong subject knowledge in History
*Be committed to high-quality teaching and learning
*Demonstrate excellent classroom management and communication skills
*Be a team player with a reflective and proactive approach
*Share a commitment to inclusion, safeguarding and student success
