£25-£30 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
About the Role:
As an SEN Tutor, you will provide one-to-one or small group support to students with a range of additional needs, including:
*ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder)
*ADHD
*SEMH needs
*Speech and Language difficulties
*Learning difficulties and additional support needs
Key Responsibilities:
*Deliver personalised and engaging tuition sessions
*Adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs and EHCP targets
*Build positive relationships with students and families
*Support students’ academic progress, confidence, and emotional wellbeing
*Monitor progress and provide feedback where required
Requirements:
*Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN
*Experience tutoring or teaching preferred
*Strong communication and behaviour management skills
*Patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach
*Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
*Right to work in the UK
This role would suit qualified teachers, SEN specialists, teaching assistants, support workers, graduates, or experienced tutors looking for flexible and meaningful work.
