We are seeking an experienced and confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming primary school in the S4 area of Sheffield on a full-time basis, starting as soon as possible.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated practitioner who is passionate about supporting children’s learning and is confident leading whole-class teaching in the absence of a teacher.
About the RoleAs an HLTA, you will:
*Cover classes during teacher absence across primary age groups
*Deliver pre-planned lessons and ensure continuity of learning
*Support pupils’ academic and social development
*Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
*Work closely with teaching staff to support pupil progress
*Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups where required
About YouWe are looking for someone who has:
*A relevant Level 4 qualification (essential)
*Proven experience working with primary-aged children
*Confidence in leading whole-class learning
*Strong behaviour management skills
*A flexible, professional and proactive approach
