Full job descriptionMy client a world-leading producer and distributor of fine wines and spirits have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Accounts Receivable Assistant/Credit Controller to join their welcoming and friendly team.
The selected candidate will have strong interpersonal and organisational skills along with an eye for accuracy.
*Salary: 30K+10% Bonus + excellent benefits
*Hours: 9-5.30pm (flexibility on start end time offer)
*Hybrid/WFH: Monday and Friday are working from home days. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are in the office.
*Location: Short walk away from a mainline London based station.
The role:
*Daily invoicing with the Stock and Order Department
*Prepare statements/reminders to Customers, chase Customers on payment
*Submission of invoices in their system and then process invoices through a loader
*Submit accurate monthly cash predictions to Head of Finance
*Chase Order teams for pending credit notes or queries unanswered
*Liaise with the Account Assistant on A&P for Contra Payments
*Assist with month end closing
Person:
*Organised and able to manage deadlines
*Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills
*Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel
