Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Contract: Ongoing
We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and reliable KS2 Teaching Assistant to work within a welcoming primary school in the Quinton area from September 2026.
This is a full-time, ongoing role supporting pupils across Key Stage 2. The successful candidate must be confident supporting children with a range of learning and behavioural needs and able to build positive relationships within the classroom.
The role will involve:
* Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
* Delivering targeted interventions
* Assisting the class teacher with classroom activities
* Encouraging engagement and keeping children on task
* Supporting children with behavioural and additional learning needs
* Creating a positive and supportive learning environment
The ideal candidate will have:
* Previous experience working in a school, nursery, or support worker setting
* A patient, proactive, and adaptable approach
* Strong behaviour management skills
* The ability to commit to full-time hours, Monday-Friday
* Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential
This role is being offered through an education agency and is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children’s learning and development.
