We are seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and motivated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in Ashford, Kent on a full-time, permanent basis starting in September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children’s learning and development within a positive and inclusive school environment.
The successful candidate will:
*Support pupils in the classroom to help them achieve their full potential
*Work closely with class teachers to deliver engaging learning activities
*Provide one-to-one and small group support where required
*Encourage positive behaviour and pupil engagement
*Build strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents
*Demonstrate patience, flexibility and a proactive approach
The ideal candidate will have:
*Previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
*A positive, nurturing and adaptable attitude
*A commitment to supporting children’s academic and personal development
