An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Town Planner to join a well-established and highly respected multidisciplinary consultancy based in Bedford. This is an excellent role for a Planner looking to work on a diverse portfolio of projects while developing their career within a collaborative and supportive environment.
The successful candidate will work alongside experienced planning professionals, delivering planning advice and managing projects across residential, commercial, mixed-use, and strategic development schemes.
The Role*Preparing and submitting planning applications and appeals
*Conducting site appraisals and planning research
*Liaising with local authorities, clients, consultants, and stakeholders
*Supporting project delivery from inception through to approval
*Assisting with planning strategies and development opportunities
*Preparing reports, statements, and supporting documentation
Requirements*Degree qualified in Town Planning or a related discipline
*MRTPI qualified or working towards chartership
*Previous experience within a consultancy or local authority environment
*Strong knowledge of the UK planning system
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Ability to manage workload effectively and work within a team
