Are you a Maths graduate looking to gain classroom experience in a fast-paced secondary school?
A secondary school in Hackney is looking for a Maths Academic Mentor to support students who need additional help building confidence and progress in Maths.
Hackney schools are placing a strong focus on raising core subject attainment, making this a fantastic opportunity for aspiring teachers.
What you’ll be doing:
*Supporting students in Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
*Delivering targeted intervention sessions
*Supporting GCSE preparation and exam confidence
*Helping students stay engaged and focused in lessons
What they’re looking for:
*Maths graduate or strong academic Maths background
*Confident communicator and positive role model
*Strong numeracy and problem-solving skills
*Interest in teaching or education careers
