Full job descriptionTeaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils aged 4–18 in a specialist setting. This is a rewarding opportunity to work with students with a range of special educational needs, supporting both their academic progress and personal development.
The Role:*Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEN
*Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and structured lessons
*Support students with additional learning, behavioural, and emotional needs
*Help create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
*Encourage independence and confidence in all learners
Requirements:*Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN
*A calm, patient, and nurturing approach
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
*Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
*Relevant qualifications or training in education/support work (desirable but not essential)
