Description


Financial Leadership & Reporting
*Deliver monthly management accounts with full balance sheet integrity, supported by clear commentary and KPI analysis
*Continuously improve financial controls, processes, and reporting frameworks
*Lead budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modelling to support strategic decisions
*Manage the year-end process, including audit preparation and liaison with external advisors
Operational Finance & Commercial Insight*Oversee weekly performance reporting, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities
*Conduct site/venue audits to ensure compliance and operational efficiency
*Provide financial modelling and support for commercial initiatives, including new openings and investments
Cash, Treasury & Compliance*Manage cash flow forecasting, payment cycles, and bank reconciliations
*Ensure accuracy of revenue reporting across multiple income streams and systems
*Oversee statutory reporting requirements including VAT and other sector-specific returns
Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Support*Support payroll processing and reconciliation
*Work closely with operational teams to ensure accurate and timely submission of financial information
*Provide guidance and oversight to transactional finance functions
Ad-Hoc & Strategic Projects*Deliver insightful financial analysis to support key business decisions
*Contribute to operational and financial improvement initiatives across the organisation


Profile
A successful Financial Controller should have:
*Be qualfiied by expereince in a similar role
*A recognised part qualified accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
*Proven experience in the accounting and finance sector, ideally within hospitalility.
*Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and compliance practices.
*Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
*Ability to manage and lead a team effectively.
*Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
*A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
