Full job descriptionLong-Term Learning Support Assistant – Specialist School – SouthamptonTeaching Personnel are recruiting a committed Learning Support Assistant for a long-term position within a specialist school in Southampton.
This role has the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
The school supports children with a range of additional needs including autism, complex learning difficulties and medical needs. Staff are passionate about providing a safe, nurturing and engaging environment where every child can thrive.
The Role:
*Full-time, long-term position
*Supporting pupils with additional needs in class
*Working closely with teachers and therapists
*Providing emotional and academic support
*Building positive and trusting relationships with pupils
Ideal Candidate:
*Experience working within SEN, care or support settings
*Calm, patient and resilient personality
*Passion for supporting vulnerable children
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
Pay:
£14.25 per hour

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
