are currently recruiting for committed and adaptable Learning Support Assistants to work on a supply basis across a range of SEN schools and specialist provisions in Sheffield.
This role involves supporting students with additional needs including autism, ADHD, learning difficulties and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs. Successful candidates will work closely with teaching staff to provide classroom support, encourage student engagement and help create positive and inclusive learning environments.
The schools are seeking individuals who are patient, resilient and passionate about supporting young people with additional needs to reach their full potential.
The successful candidate will:*Have experience working with children or young people in education, care or support settings
*Be confident supporting students with additional learning or behavioural needs
*Have strong communication and relationship-building skills
*Be adaptable, proactive and able to work as part of a team
*Demonstrate patience, resilience and a nurturing approach
*Be passionate about supporting vulnerable young people
This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience across a variety of specialist educational settings while making a meaningful difference to students’ development and wellbeing.
