The Role
We are recruiting for a Health & Safety Advisor to join a busy, fast-paced operational environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within Health, Safety & Environment (HSE), with strong support and structured development provided.
You’ll play a key role in promoting a positive safety culture, supporting compliance, and helping to ensure safe working practices across site operations.
Key Responsibilities
*Provide day-to-day health & safety support across site
*Assist in implementing HSE policies and procedures
*Act as a first point of contact for H&S queries
*Support risk assessments (including COSHH and task-based)
*Identify hazards and follow through to resolution
*Carry out workplace inspections and audits
*Support incident reporting and investigations
*Maintain accurate HSE records and documentation
*Deliver inductions, toolbox talks and training support
*Assist with contractor compliance and RAMS reviews
*Support fire safety checks and emergency procedures
What We’re Looking For
*NEBOSH National General Certificate (or willing to complete within 12 months)
*Strong interest in developing a career in Health & Safety
*Good communication and organisational skills
*Proactive, hands-on approach
*Ability to work effectively in a site-based environment
