*Prepare and review corporate tax computations and returns, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
*Provide expert advice on tax planning and strategies to optimise tax efficiency within the property sector.
*Manage VAT compliance, including preparation and submission of VAT returns.
*Collaborate with finance teams to ensure accurate reporting of tax-related matters.
*Support audits and liaise with external advisors and tax authorities as needed.
*Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their potential impact on the organisation.
*Assist in the development of internal tax policies and procedures.
*Provide guidance and training to internal stakeholders on tax-related matters.
Profile
A successful Tax Accountant should have:
*Part Qualified in accounting or taxation (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CTA, or equivalent).
*Strong knowledge of UK tax regulations, particularly within the property industry.
*Proven ability to prepare and review corporate tax and VAT returns with high accuracy.
*Previous experience in VAT Property.
*Strong excel skills.
*Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
*Experience in liaising with tax authorities and external advisors.
*Proficiency in tax software and financial systems.
