Our client is a medium sized manufacturing business with a team of 6 in finance.
Description
*Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts
*Posting journals, accruals and prepayments
*Financial reporting
*Assist with audit duties
*Deal with queries
*Raise sales invoices, help out with ledger work
*Reconciliatons
Profile
A successful Assistant Accountant should have:
*A strong foundation in accounting principles and financial processes.
*Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
*Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
*The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
*A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
*Good communication skills for liaising with colleagues and stakeholders.
*Previous experience in a similar role within the business services industry is advantageous.
Job Offer
