Join our team as an Accounts & Tax Senior and be part of a growing firm with a clear path for progression. This role is ideal for someone with substantial UK practice experience who is looking for a long-term opportunity to grow with the firm and manage a diverse portfolio of SME and owner-managed business clients.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Manage a portfolio of SME and owner-managed business clients, ensuring all financial reports and tax compliance are handled efficiently.
*Oversee accounts, corporation tax, personal tax, and VAT compliance.
*Utilise Xero and Iris for bookkeeping and financial reporting.
*Provide advisory services and manage client relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction and engagement.
*Support the Directors in strategic practice growth initiatives.
*Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a UK practice environment.
*ACA or ACCA part qualified or finalist/QBE (Qualified is a bonus!)
*Proficient in Xero, Iris, and knowledgeable across various tax disciplines.
*Professional, proactive, and client-focused approach.
*Ability to start immediately or at short notice is highly advantageous.
