.This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Tax Analyst to join a large manufacturing industry.
Description
*Prepare and review corporate tax returns and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
*Assist with tax audits and manage communication with tax authorities.
*Provide tax advice and support to internal stakeholders across the business.
*Analyse tax risks and opportunities, recommending strategies for optimisation.
*Collaborate with finance teams to ensure accurate tax reporting and forecasting.
*Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the organisation.
*Support the implementation of tax-efficient structures and processes.
*Assist in managing relationships with external tax advisors and consultants.
Profile
A successful Senior Tax Analyst should have:
*Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of tax processes by identifying opportunities to streamline activities through digital solutions and automation.
*Assist with tax compliance and reporting responsibilities across multiple tax disciplines, with a primary focus on corporation tax and exposure to areas such as indirect and employment taxes.
*Leverage modern technologies, including process automation, data analytics, and intelligent software tools, to improve accuracy, efficiency, and compliance outcomes.
*Work collaboratively with finance teams, shared service functions, and external compliance providers to coordinate tax obligations and ensure key deadlines are achieved.
*Provide support across a variety of tax matters, including UK and international corporate tax, global minimum tax requirements, transfer pricing, payroll-related taxes, and VAT.
*Adhere to established tax risk management and governance frameworks, ensuring activities are conducted in line with internal controls and policies.
*Maintain and develop technical knowledge and professional skills through ongoing learning and development activities.
*Participate in project-based work and provide assistance on advisory assignments and broader tax initiatives as required.
