The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Internal Sales Engineer to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing business.
This role would suit someone with a technical engineering background who enjoys customer interaction, solution selling and developing long-term client relationships. Working as part of a busy commercial team, you will support customers from initial enquiry through to quotation, order processing and account development.
Responsibilities
*Managing customer enquiries and preparing quotations
*Providing technical and commercial support
*Processing customer orders and maintaining CRM records
*Developing existing customer accounts and identifying new opportunities
*Working closely with external sales teams to maximise business opportunities
*Reviewing customer requirements and ensuring commercial objectives are achieved
*Building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
Requirements
*Mechanical Engineering qualification or equivalent industry experience
*Previous experience within Internal Sales, Technical Sales or Sales Engineering
*Strong communication and relationship-building skills
*Commercial awareness and customer-focused approach
*Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
*Ability to understand technical engineering products and specifications
Desirable
*Engineering manufacturing environment experience
*Valves, flow control or process industry exposure
*Oil & Gas industry experience
