Site Supervisor / Foreman – Halifax (Immediate Start)Location: Halifax, HX4
Start Date: Wednesday 27th May
End Date: Wednesday 3rd June
Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm
Duration: 1 week (potential extension based on performance and competency on the tools)
The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor / Foreman to oversee works on a residential property project. This position requires a balance of hands-on involvement and effective site management. You will be responsible for coordinating trades, maintaining site safety, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
*Supervising joiners, labourers, and subcontractors
*Providing hands-on support, particularly with joinery tasks
*Assisting with scaffold erection and coping installation
*Ensuring all Health & Safety procedures are adhered to (client is highly H&S focused)
*Completing daily reporting and maintaining full site compliance
*Liaising with project managers and ensuring work progresses to schedule
Requirements:*SSSTS – essential
*Strong joinery background with the ability to assist on the tools
*Proven experience supervising trades on residential construction projects
*Solid understanding of site safety standards and compliance
*Ability to communicate clearly and manage workloads effectively
*Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently
