You’ll join a growing and well-established multi-academy organisation, taking a lead role in overseeing financial management across multiple sites. Working closely with the CEO and Board, you’ll provide strategic financial insight, ensure robust controls, and support long-term sustainability across the trust.

Your key focus areas
*Leading financial planning, budgeting and forecasting across the organisation
*Ensuring strong financial governance, controls and compliance frameworks
*Overseeing statutory reporting, audits and regulatory requirements
*Managing risk, financial oversight and funding allocation
*Driving value for money and efficient resource utilisation
*Supporting operational leaders with financial insight and decision-making
*Overseeing procurement and financial processes
*Acting as a key advisor to the CEO and Board on financial matters


*What you’ll bring
*Fully qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
*Strong experience in senior finance roles (Head of Finance / CFO / Financial Controller level)
*Background in education, public sector or not-for-profit (highly desirable)
*Strong understanding of using IRIS Software
*Strong understanding of financial governance, compliance and audit
*Experience in multi-site or complex organisational environments
*Confident communicator with experience working with Boards and senior stakeholders
*Strategic mindset with strong analytical capability
