Joining a growing and ambitious accountancy practice, you’ll become part of a team where tax advisory and compliance work sits at the heart of the client offering. As a Tax Senior, you’ll enjoy broad exposure across a range of tax matters, working closely with clients, HMRC and colleagues while taking ownership of your own workload. Whether your ambition is to deepen your technical expertise or build a long-term career in a practical, client-focused role, you’ll have the support and flexibility to shape your future in a way that suits you.
With a shorter working week, early Friday finishes and genuine opportunities for progression, this is a role designed to help you enjoy both your career and your life outside of work.
Role Overview
*Manage a varied portfolio of tax compliance and reporting matters
*Liaise directly with clients, HMRC and internal stakeholders
*Prepare calculations and submit HMRC filings, claims, registrations and clearances
*Identify complex issues and escalate where appropriate.
The Ideal Candidate
*Previous experience within an accountancy practice OR tax environment
*Exposure across a variety of taxes including personal, corporate, CGT, trusts etc.
*ATT qualified, or similar, is advantageous but by no means essential - candidates deemed qualified by experience will also be considered.

*Salary up to £45,000
*35-hour working week - 2pm finish every Friday!
*Full shutdown between Christmas and New Year
