Description
*Assist in preparing and maintaining accurate financial records.
*Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
*Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
*Process invoices and manage accounts payable and receivable.
*Assist in preparing financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
*Maintain up-to-date and organised financial documentation.
*Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance team to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
*Provide support for ad hoc accounting tasks as required.
Profile
A successful Assistant Accountant should have:
*A strong foundation in accounting principles and practices.
*Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
*Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
*The ability to work effectively in a small team environment.
*Previous experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably in the business services industry.
*Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Job Offer
*Hourly pay ranging from £20.00 to £25.00, depending on experience.
