Full job description New Vacancy – Senior Air Export/Import Operator
Location: Colnbrook
Salary: £36,000 - £38,000 per annum (depending on experience and knowledge)
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Senior Air Export/Import Operator to join their established and growing team based in Colnbrook.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled freight forwarding professional with strong air import and export experience who is looking to join a busy, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:*Managing air export and import shipments from start to finish.
*Completing customs entries and ensuring full compliance with HMRC regulations.
*Liaising with airlines, customers, overseas agents, and internal departments.
*Preparing, checking, and processing all relevant shipping documentation.
*Monitoring shipment progress and proactively resolving any operational issues.
*Ensuring high levels of customer service and operational efficiency at all times.
Requirements:*Proven experience in air freight operations, covering both imports and exports.
*Strong industry knowledge and freight forwarding operational experience.
*Experience completing customs entries.
*Good understanding of HMRC customs procedures and compliance requirements.
*Excellent communication and organisational skills.
*Ability to work independently and manage multiple shipments in a busy environment.
*Own vehicle required due to the office location.
