Wakefield | Full-Time (37.5 hours, Monday–Friday) - Office Based | Immediate Start
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join one of our key clients based in Wakefield—an organisation known for its supportive culture, collaborative environment, and reputation as a fantastic place to work.
We are currently recruiting for Booking Administrator to join a busy and friendly team on a temporary basis. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys organisation and coordination, and takes pride in delivering excellent service.
The Role
As a Booking Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth coordination of travel and event logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
*Managing multiple shared inboxes, responding to enquiries in a timely and professional manner
*Accurately inputting and maintaining data across internal systems and Excel spreadsheets
*Coordinating travel bookings (air, rail, and bus), ensuring alignment with company policies (full training provided)
*Proactively managing travel changes, delays, and cancellations
*Supporting registration platforms, updating delegate information, and maintaining accurate records
*Producing weekly reports relating to travel and accommodation data
*Assisting with visa request processes
*Distributing e-tickets and final travel communications
*Recording and tracking ticket pricing to support reconciliation processes
About You
We’re looking for someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented, and confident working in a fast-paced office environment.
You will ideally have:
*A minimum of 2 years’ office or administrative experience
*Strong email management skills and the ability to handle high volumes efficiently
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Exceptional attention to detail, particularly when handling personal data
*Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
*The ability to prioritise workloads and meet tight deadlines
