Early Career Teacher (ECT) - General Teaching Role
Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire
Start Date: September 2026
Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term
Employer: Veritas Education (on behalf of a partner secondary school)
About the RoleVeritas Education is working in partnership with a supportive and inclusive secondary school in the Bradford area to recruit a motivated and adaptable Early Career Teacher (ECT) for a full-time, long-term position starting in September 2026.
This role is ideal for a newly qualified teacher looking to gain valuable classroom experience across the curriculum while completing their ECT induction within a structured and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities*Plan and deliver engaging lessons in your subject specialism
*Support teaching across a range of subjects where required
*Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
*Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
*Contribute to the wider school community and ethos
The Ideal Candidate*Holds (or is on track to achieve) Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*Recently completed or due to complete a PGCE or equivalent
*Demonstrates strong communication and classroom management skills
*Is flexible, proactive, and keen to develop professionally
*Committed to safeguarding and supporting student outcomes
