A fantastic opportunity is available for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Mathematics to join a thriving secondary school in Yeovil from September 2026.
The school is looking for an inspiring educator who can foster a love of learning and help students achieve strong outcomes in Mathematics. Applications are encouraged from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) seeking to develop their skills within a supportive and ambitious school setting.
About the Role*Teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4
*Deliver engaging lessons that challenge and motivate students
*Track and support pupil progress to maximise achievement
*Contribute to departmental planning and curriculum development
*Promote a positive and productive classroom environment
The Successful Candidate Will Have*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
*A sound understanding of the secondary Mathematics curriculum
*Strong communication and organisational skills
*The ability to engage learners with a range of abilities and backgrounds
*A commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning
