Due to continued growth, we are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Credit Control Assistant to join our finance team on a temporary-to-permanent basis.
Description
*Managing and reducing aged debt across a portfolio of customers
*Chasing outstanding payments via phone, email, and written communication
*Allocating incoming payments and reconciling customer accounts
*Resolving invoice queries in collaboration with sales and operations teams
*Preparing credit control reports and updating internal systems
*Assessing customer creditworthiness and setting credit limits
*Supporting month-end processes and financial reporting
Profile
*Previous experience in a credit control or accounts receivable role
*Strong communication and negotiation skills
*Ability to build effective relationships with internal teams and customers
*Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
*Confident using finance systems and Excel
*Experience within manufacturing or a related sector is advantageous
Job Offer
*Hourly pay of £15.00 to £19.00, depending on experience.
