About the RoleWe are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (RAC) Tutor to deliver high-quality teaching and support to apprentices and learners. This full-time role is based in Wythenshawe and offers the opportunity to help develop the next generation of RAC professionals.
Key Responsibilities*Deliver engaging and effective teaching in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
*Support and guide apprentices through their learning journey
*Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback
*Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement
*Ensure compliance with apprenticeship standards and awarding body requirements
*Maintain accurate learner records and documentation
Requirements*Strong knowledge and experience within Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (RAC)
*Understanding of apprenticeship frameworks and standards
*Previous teaching or tutoring experience (essential – industry-only experience is not sufficient)
*Ability to engage and motivate learners of varying abilities
*Strong organisational and communication skills
Qualifications*Teaching qualification preferred
*Candidates without teaching qualifications may be considered, with support provided by Total People to achieve Level 3 and Level 4 teaching qualifications
