Contract | London | Hybrid Working
A global, fast-paced organisation within the technology and creative media space is seeking an experienced Senior Accountantto join its growing finance team. This role will play a key part in supporting the global business, with a strong focus on month-end close, statutory reporting, and financial controls.
The successful candidate will be highly motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a dynamic, international environment with shifting priorities.
Key Responsibilities
*Support and help prepare workflows for monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
*Assist with statutory reporting requirements across multiple jurisdictions
*Perform regular analysis of operating expenses to ensure accurate and reliable reporting
*Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive efficiency initiatives
*Support SEC filings and SOX compliance activities
*Work independently and collaboratively across multiple time zones
*Assist with ad hoc reporting and special projects as required
Experience & Qualifications
*ACA / CIMA / ACCA / CPA qualified (or equivalent)
*Strong working knowledge of US GAAP (exposure to EMEA and APAC standards is an advantage)
*Solid understanding of financial reporting processes and internal controls
*Previous experience within public accounting (Big 4 or mid-tier firms preferred)
*3–5 years’ relevant experience; technology and/or creative media industry experience is advantageous
*Experience with Workday Financial Management is a plus but not essential
*Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (essential)
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
