Description
*Act as the lead commercial finance partner to the leadership team, providing strategic insight, challenge, and decision support.
*Support pricing, contract negotiations, customer profitability, and pipeline conversion analysis to drive margin improvement and growth.
*Monitor financial and margin performance, identifying risks, trends, and opportunities to optimise revenue, cost base, and operational efficiency.
*Lead budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and financial modelling, ensuring robust analysis underpins business plans and investment decisions.
*Deliver timely, insightful management information and develop reporting tools and dashboards to improve visibility of performance and profitability.
*Partner with finance teams to ensure accurate and consistent reporting across the P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
*Drive strong financial controls and continuous improvement across systems, reporting, and processes, contributing to transformation and digital initiatives.
*Lead and develop the commercial finance team, building capability, accountability, and a high-performance culture.
Profile


*A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
*Strong experience in financial leadership within a commercial environment.
*A proven track record of delivering financial insights and driving business performance.
*Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
*Proficiency in financial systems and tools.
*Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
*Experience in manufacturing, FMCG or logistics.
