Role Details
*Start Date: September 2026
*Location: Fulham, London
*Position: Room Leader
*Contract: Full-time, Permanent
*Hours: 42 hours per week, Monday to Friday with varied shift patterns
*Salary: £34,000 - £38,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Key Responsibilities
*Lead and manage a nursery room, ensuring the highest standards of care and education
*Support, motivate, and mentor Early Years Practitioners within the room
*Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
*Monitor children’s learning and development, ensuring accurate observations and assessments
The Ideal Candidate Will
*Hold a relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare (or above)
*Have previous experience working as a Room Leader, Third in Charge, Senior Nursery Practitioner, or experienced Early Years Practitioner ready to step up
*Demonstrate strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures
*Have experience leading, supporting, or mentoring colleagues within a nursery environment
