SEO Manager
London or East Midlands | £33,000 to £45,000This is an opportunity to step into a high-impact SEO Manager role where you will take real ownership of organic performance for a major e-commerce website. With two hires aligned to different retail propositions, this role offers scale, autonomy and visibility in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment.The Company
They are a large, established UK retail organisation operating across multiple consumer brands with a strong digital footprint. Organic search plays a critical role in commercial performance, and SEO is highly valued across the wider business. With significant investment in tools, technology and agency support, they provide an environment where SEO can genuinely influence trading, buying and growth decisions.The Role
You will own SEO performance for a key retail website, driving visibility, traffic and revenue through a hands-on, full-stack approach.*Take end-to-end ownership of organic performance including rankings, traffic and revenue
*Build and execute SEO strategy across technical SEO, content and on-site optimisation
*Identify growth opportunities through keyword research and performance analysis
*Maintain site health including crawling, indexing and technical best practice
*Collaborate with internal commercial, trading and buying teams
*Manage and partner with external agencies to deliver SEO initiatives
*Track, analyse and report on performance against KPIs
*For one of the roles, support the development of more junior SEO team members
Your Skills & Experience*Strong hands-on experience in SEO, either in-house or agency side
*Confidence owning and prioritising SEO activity in a fast-moving environment
*Experience across technical SEO and content optimisation
*Commercial mindset with the ability to influence stakeholders outside of marketing
*E-commerce experience is beneficial, though not essential
*Comfortable using tools such as Screaming Frog, Google Search Console and GA4
*Experience with enterprise SEO platforms and keyword tracking tools is a plus
What They Offer*Salary between £33,000 and £45,000 depending on experience
