The Role
As an HLTA, you will support teaching and learning across the school, deliver planned lessons, and provide class cover when teachers are absent. You will also work closely with teachers to support pupil progress and classroom management.
Responsibilities include
* Delivering planned lessons and covering classes when required
* Supporting teachers in the delivery of learning activities
* Working with pupils on a 1 to 1 and small group basis
* Supporting behaviour management and classroom routines
* Monitoring and supporting pupil progress
* Contributing to a positive and engaging learning environment
The School is Looking For
* HLTA status or HLTA qualification is essential
* Experience working as a TA or in a school setting
* Confidence leading a class and delivering learning
* Strong behaviour management skills
* A proactive and supportive approach
* Passion for supporting pupil development
