Full job descriptionAbout the Role
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a leading UK main contractor delivering high-quality Residential and Commercial developments. This role will be based on a flagship project in Manchester, contributing to the successful delivery of a large-scale scheme.
Key Responsibilities
*Manage all cost-related aspects of the project from inception to completion
*Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flow
*Oversee procurement and manage subcontractor accounts
*Provide accurate reporting to support project delivery and profitability
*Manage valuations and variations
About You
*Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within residential housing / apartment schemes
*JCT experience
*Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
*Excellent knowledge of construction contracts and cost control
*Ability to work collaboratively with project teams and stakeholders
*Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
