We’re working with a well-established, global brand based near Topsham who are looking to bring an experienced Bookkeeper into their wider team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a varied, hands-on role within a preforming business.
The role:
You’ll take ownership of the day-to-day finance function, working closely with the business owners to ensure everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
*Managing purchase and sales ledger
*Bank reconciliations
*Processing payroll
*Preparing and submitting VAT returns
*Maintaining accurate financial records
*Supporting with monthly management information
*Liaising with external accountants and internal stakeholders
About you:
*Previous bookkeeping experience (ideally to trial balance)
*AAT qualified or qualified by experience
*Confident using accounting software (Sage, Xero, or similar)
*Strong attention to detail and organisation
*Comfortable working independently in a busy environment
