Full job descriptionGroup Finance Manager | £50k–£70k | East Cheshire | On-site
Axon Moore is partnering with a market-leading manufacturer in East Cheshire to recruit a Group Finance Manager for a high-performing, globally operating business.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong finance professional to lead a small team, oversee group accounting, VAT, tax, and audit, drive process improvements, and partner with stakeholders across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
*Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
*Deliver variance analysis and commercial performance insights
*Oversee day-to-day finance operations, including month-end, VAT, tax, AP/AR, and controls
*Support cash flow forecasting and treasury activities
*Coordinate external audit and ensure financial compliance
*Identify financial risks and drive process improvements
*Lead, coach, and develop a small finance team
*Partner with stakeholders to support strategic business objectives
The Candidate:
*ACCA / CIMA qualified
*Proven experience in a Finance Manager or Group Management Accountant role
*Strong technical accounting, audit, and tax knowledge
*Experience leading and developing finance teams
*ERP systems experience
