We are a bespoke furniture workshop specialising in the design and manufacture of high-quality solid wood furniture. Combining traditional craftsmanship with modern manufacturing techniques, we create unique, made-to-order pieces for residential and commercial clients.
We are looking for an experienced CNC Wood Machinist to join our growing team in Chichester. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in precision, craftsmanship, and producing exceptional work.


The Role

As a CNC Wood Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC woodworking machinery to produce components for bespoke furniture and joinery projects. You will work closely with our design and production teams to ensure all work is completed to the highest standards.


Key Responsibilities

*Set up and operate CNC routers and woodworking machinery
*Read and interpret technical drawings and production specifications
*Produce high-quality components from solid timber and sheet materials
*Perform quality checks throughout the manufacturing process
*Maintain machinery and ensure a safe working environment
*Support efficient workshop operations and production schedules


About You

Essential

*Previous experience operating CNC woodworking machinery
*Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
*Strong understanding of woodworking materials and machining processes
*Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team


Desirable

*Experience within bespoke furniture or joinery manufacturing
*CNC programming or CAD/CAM experience
*Knowledge of machinery such as Homag, Biesse, SCM, Weeke, or similar
